Currently, sessions range from 25 to 50 minutes depending on the program selected.

Generally, individuals see maximum benefit when they use the chamber 3 to 5 times per week. It is designed for daily use, but should not be used more than 60 minutes per day.

The Chamber is designed to be experienced nude - as the photobiomodulation in particular is great for the skin. However, about 50% of people choose to keep their undergarments on – as it’s most important that you’re comfortable while inside the Chamber. A bathing suit or even clothes (as long as there are no exposed buttons, snaps or zippers that could damage the acrylic surface) are also options.

Pacemaker/implantable cardiac device – DO NOT use the Chamber, as the electrical fields may interfere with pacemakers/implantable cardiac devices and cause malfunction and/or death. Any implanted electrical device in the body eg: cochlear implant, brain stim device, insulin pump, Inspire device (sleep apnea) DO NOT use the Chamber. If these devices can be disabled or turned off without any adverse events (i.e. insulin pumps & the Inspire device), then you may be able to experience the Chamber if allowed by your doctor. Pregnancy – DO NOT use the Ammortal Chamber if you are pregnant or may be pregnant. DO NOT use the Ammortal Chamber if you have ever had an adverse reaction to any of the following modalities: infrared light, pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF), pulsed electric field (PEF), vibroacoustic therapy, molecular hydrogen, or meditation exercises.
